Bruce Palmer-The Cycle is Complete

Another classic, essential psych mind fuck. Palmer was probably most well known as Neil Young's early drug buddy and bassist for Buffalo Springfield. After they split and everyone went on to more successful solo careers, Palmer went the opposite route and recorded this 3 song space odyssey. Old buddy, Rick James, joins in the festivities (cue cliched Chappelle show joke here fratboy). Again, like the few true classics of the genre, this is hard to find analogs to compare with, so let's just say Oar & Starsailor or any of those other epics and leave it at that. For some reason this one never rated as high with the hipsters. Their loss, your gain.
