Disco Zombies-The Invisible E.P.

This one might piggyback nicely on the Thought Criminals 7" I posted a day or so ago. Not that it sounds all that similar, but it just seems like an appropriate one-two combo. Aside from that I'm not too sure what else to write about this lot. They're British. They play music that I enjoy. This is a 7". You all know I suck at descriptions anyways. That's why my write ups are typically narcissistic self indulgences and pity parties. Oh no, I've given away the secret to my (lack) of success. Go start your own blog.

  1. Least you could do with something in print is include a link to purchase this and all their other material including a ton of unreleased bonus stuff!

  2. Appreciate the effort involved in putting out old releases. It's a good record but I reckon that if you like it and want your own copy you should probably have the wherewithal about you to find it yourself. Surely no one begrudges putting in a small amount of effort to find something they desire. I could be wrong but I even enjoy the search. Just saying that it's pretty easy these days. I've no vested interest in this blog but felt I had to say there wouldn't be many people even aware of the band's existence without the help of blogs like this one. They spread the love of obscure recordings with no gain to themselves other than the satisfaction of providing them a wider audience and thereby potential sales for yourself.

  3. I thank you both for the comments. As you know, I never want to take money away from the artists who produced the work if it is possible. So far, I have been contacted by numerous people whose works I have posted and every one seems to be amazed that people are still digging their work decades after the fact. The only people who have asked me to remove a link or anything are artists on major labels (and I'm sure it really has nothing to do with the artists themselves). Dan, I love your label and have ordered from you in the past. I wasn't aware that you reissued this. If anything, I see it as something, like Majes, that would only increase interest, albeit in a modest form. You obviously offer more than this 7" and I think (hope) people will like this and seek out more. That being said, time for me to be the usual prick that I am. I noticed that your comment was posted almost immediately after I upped this. I'm now curious, do you just troll blogs and make assy comments like this the moment you see a chance to push your albums? I doubt you've ever seen this blog before so it's unlikely that I'm really putting a dent in the sales or anything.

  4. I responded in full on DIE or D.I.Y.? but will sum up here. I saw the post because I subscribe to your blog in google reeder. I didn't even ask you to remove the download, just to include a link so that people who read your blog that like the tracks would know where to purchase the whole thing.
