There might be some of you out there who’ll download this and then complain that it’s boring and not much goes on. But there might be some of you who are like that asshole at my former university who decided to jerk off into the library’s copy of 120 Days of Sodom thus preventing further readings. But I think most will appreciate the fact that not much actually goes on. It’s weird how this works. It can easily be ignored or treated as background music but once you get interested it becomes incredibly demanding. I know that sounds like some bullshit that doesn’t work, but at least that’s always been my listening experience with this work. Side note, this guy was Battiato's violin instructor.

Coincidentally 120 Days of Sodom is pretty boring, even though quite a bit goes on. Thanks for this, though.
ReplyDeleteI dunno. I've always enjoyed it, but I suppose it's pretty tame considering it's reputation.
