John Buck Wilkin-In Search of Food, Clothing, and Sex

If you read the title of this album you know that this guy knew about all that is vital to living.  Is there anything else to add?  Of course not.

  1. Dude's Mom wrote Long Black Veil! And this is interesting: "Nashville singer, songwriter and rocker John Buck Wilkin (of Ronny and the Daytonas fame), contributed to[Dennis Hopper's] The Last Movie's soundtrack & appears in the film. He penned for the Scene this first-person remembrance" : http://goo.gl/9DNcF

  2. This I did know, but I just figured there wasn't much worth of writing up about this one. People will either give it a shot or not. But the back story is definitely interesting.

By the way, I'm glad to see you're commenting here again. It only makes me want to post more albums. In a way, it seems like you're the life blood of so many of the blogs we love. Your commitment to commenting on a million blogs is admirable. I only wish I had some sort of a medallion to give you.

  3. OOooh, I wanna be a taxi!
    No, wait, what?

I apologize for dip in comments - I'm way behind in reading/listening/appreciating everyone's posts. I'm caring for & teaching young kids, so my computer time has decreased dramatically.

On the plus side, I have perfected my one-woman performance of Rikki Tikki Tavi.

  6. Doh!

Apparently blogspot doesn't allow anonymous commentary. Now I know like G.I. Joe. It's cool I'm not ashamed of my love for you two. In fact I'm proud of it. Aw hell fuck me for caring anyhow! Sorry. I will let myself out. Thank you.
